Special Olympics Ontario’s impact on the lives of those with intellectual disabilities is unparalleled. Through active participation in sport, athletes develop confidence in their abilities, courage, and self-esteem. They learn to make and maintain meaningful relationships. They are also taught the importance of physical activity, healthy nutrition, and maintaining their physical and mental health.

Special Olympics athletes are training hard to prepare for the 2018 Bowling Championships in Prince Edward Island (May 14-20) and the 2018 National Summer Games in Antigonish, Nova Scotia (July 31-Aug 4). Team Ontario is the largest team competing in both events, and over 40% of athletes and coaches will be attending for the first time! They need your support to help get them to the games. Please, don’t leave any athletes on the sidelines. Donate today and help change a life.
